We have built a plugin for WordPress to monitor errors and send them to our system in the form of a ticket so that a programmer can solve it as soon as possible.
Apart from reporting Javascript and Php errors, the plugin includes a small widget to send or report errors manually.
From wp-admin or from the public web, any registered user or not (activatable from the options) can send an automatic message about any problem found. The widget will automatically fill in the report with the URL, browser data and message sent.
Apart from the detection and reporting of errors, the plugin communicates with our system so that we can keep a history of changes to each website. The plugin informs us when a plugin has been activated, installed, deactivated, updated or removed.
This information allows us to control and monitor websites in real time, and together with other information that we have such as data from analytics, search console, page speed, we are able to ensure that we can improve our web pages, going back in any time, and knowing what changes ultimately affect the growth of our business or website.
17/July 2022, Plugin submitted for review to the WordPress central repository.
